This open plan kitchen design in Alverthorpe is another great example of Express in the Home working alongside Express Bi-folding to create a light, flexible living space.
The kitchen itself boasts several excellent design and appliance features which include a distinctly shaped bar area with angled base units creating a real architectural feature to separate the kitchen and living room. The shaped units themselves contain the sink as well as glass doors and an under counter wine cabinet. Due to the customers requiement of a contemporary aesthetic we used mini base units around the kitchen and avoided the use of wall mounted units to ensure that the kitchen space did not feel too compact.
The kitchen boasts seamless appliances with a built in fridge and dishwasher, built in stainless steel double oven and an electric induction hob coupled with a feature black glass barrel effect external extraction.
The contrasting Silestone quartz worktop has been utilised as a splashback also creating a feature that is both practical and decorative. Lighting features include spot lights, LED wall lights, and stunning floating shelf lights which, while also serving a practical purpose have finished off the design perfectly.
Thanks to the expert design of this kitchen we have linked the kitchen with the dining area and living room within the new extension, creating one large open-plan setting that can be enjoyed by the whole family and visitors alike.
As you can see from the plans below, we presented the customer with a detailed design and visual of our proposed kitchen. The homeowner is delighted with the finished result and we are very proud to add this excellent fitted kitchen to our portfolio.
